This year's annual bear hunt hasn't resulted in any trophies for hunters. Just two weeks of the authorized hunt remain.
The hunt began September 1 and runs until October 15. Licensed hunters have been allowed to shoot a total of 16 bears this season.
So far, they haven't shot any. Hunting associations claim the bear population is too small, and the real chances of shooting a bear are also so small that hunters don't take the time to try.
