Greetings from Saskatchewan Canada.

Talking to trappers and hunters from all over Western Canada one thing stands out and that is that the Timber Wolf  nearly extinct 60 years ago is doing very well--a little too well in places. My hunting operation is based where the farmland meets the forest and alot of my neighbors are ranchers.  Wolves are responsible for  for between 25 and 30 dead cattle this year alone over 4 different ranches.  This increase in wolf numbers is of concern to hunters and ranchers alike . The wolf control program keeps me busy in the winter months and is paying dividends on our deer herd.
