Hunting hare with a dogging dog in a beautiful winter day is fantastic. We had a dachshund and there was no snow. Thus, we were not expecting a hare. The dog was chasing a roe deer with 2 fawns when this hare appeared. The dachshunds are too slow for chasing hares. It is easier to follow a deer, who doesn´t try to fool the follower all the time.
