Record in bear hunting

46 brown bears were shot in the district of Norrbotten during the season of 2007. In the whole of Sweden the total bear population is approximately 2550 bears. The hunters were allowed to shoot 184 during the season of 2007. 164 out of the allowed 184 were shot by end of September.
