Leithen Valley Trophy Hunts New Zealand and Australia is one of the oldest outfitting businesses in the southern hemisphere and has been accomodating numerous clients throughout the years. It is a family run business and has been so for the past 20 years, with Alan and Sue Stewart being the owners of Leithen Valley. Apart from being outfitter and owner, Alan Stewart guides hunting clients as well alongside his daughter Rachel in New Zealand and his son George in Australia. 

Leithen Valley Trophy Hunts New Zealand offers red stag, tahr, chamois, wapiti, fallow buck and arapawa ram hunting on the South Island of New Zealand. The red stag, wapiti, fallow buck and ram hunting is conducted on Leithen Valley's own private 10,000 acres estate, but for the chamois and tahr hunting one has to shift camps closer to the Southern Alps where those animals will be found in their natural habitat.

Leithen Valley Trophy Hunts Australia is offering hunts for south pacific water buffalo and pigs on its privately owned 375,000 acres in the Northern Territories about a 5 hour drive from Darwin. Hunts for bantang can also be arranged, but for this one has to shift camp.

While mostly catering for the US market, Leithen Valley Trophy Hunts New Zealand & Australia lately has moved more and more into the European market much due to the help of their European contact person Joakim Rausch. Apart from attending various hunting shows in different European countries, Joakim also is working as guide for Leithen Valley in New Zealand for a shorter period every year and has done so for the past six seasons.
