The Biokovo hunting area is located close to the Adriatic sea, in the proximity of the city Split. The area is situated on the mountain Biokovo at about 1.700m of altitude and it has a large population of Balcanic Chamois. This is the most famous reserve for Chamois in Croatia and it has been closed for foreign hunters for over 10 years. The hunt is done by walking, but it is fairly easy, since there is a road which reaches the highest point of the mountain.
