The Greater Kudu is a woodland antelope found throughout East and Southern Africa.

Greater Kudu are about a metre to a metre and a half tall at the shoulder and weigh 130 to 300 kilograms, the males being much larger than the females. Greater Kudu have brown to grey-blue coats with many white stripes and markings. There is a crest on the neck and shoulders and a mane along the throat.
