Wild boar driven hunt is a traditional hunt in Italy and it is done with driving staff and dogs while hunters wait at the high stands. The shooting is rather difficult due to the dense vegetation with little space for shooting at the animals in the run. It is a very interesting hunt with all the scenario of the staff with dogs driving the animals.Driven hunts are organized for groups of minimum 4 maximum 20 hunters who can combine different types of driven hunts according to their preferences. Observers are welcome. One 4 hour driven hunt is organized daily. The percentage of males of various ages in the monterias is around 30 %, out of which 10 % are trophy animals and the rest females and young animals. The accommodation is provided in the picturesque, restored farm houses for which Italy is famous in the world. The cuisine is excellent with the local specialties of wines, cheese, pasta and meat. For observers non hunters, trips and visits can be organized to the nearby cities of art such as Orvieto, Todi, Perugia, Florence and if one desires, also Rome.
